Media Metro approached us in 2014 with an innovative idea of producing large modern billboards which would transform the face of Port Moresby.
Strong project outcomes are rarely the result of a single transaction. They come from long-term working relationships built over time.
Steel Industries has worked alongside Media Metro across a range of billboard installations throughout Papua New Guinea, delivering projects that combine structural integrity with high-impact visual outcomes. From concept through to fabrication and installation, each build requires more than just materials. It involves working through practical challenges, refining ideas, and ensuring that what is delivered performs both commercially and structurally.
Many of these projects push beyond standard billboard construction — including custom builds designed to create standout presence in high-traffic locations. This requires early collaboration, a clear understanding of how each project will come together, and the ability to adapt as ideas develop.
"It’s the support outside of just the build itself that really makes the difference,” - Rich Brady, Media Metro.
This ongoing partnership has enabled the delivery of multiple billboard projects across PNG, including complex and highly visible installations. Rather than focusing on individual builds, the emphasis remains on consistency, reliability, and the ability to support clients from initial concept through to completion.
