Harbourside development set for completion

Steel Industries is proud to have been one of the leading subcontractors involved in the Steamships Harbourside development.

The project consists of two six storey towers including subterranean parking, boardwalks, and an extension into the waterfront which will house a number of restaurants with incredible views of the harbour.

Designed by Cullen Feng Architects in Sydney, and constructed by the China Railway Construction Group (CRCG).  Steel Indusries supplied one hundred eighty tons of structural steel and metal work for the towers, boardwalks, front entrance canopy, fencing, and the restaurant platform extending into the harbour including all the structural steel for the restaurants.

It is anticipated that the development will be an icon for the harbour front and a center for business in a revitalized Moresby CBD.
